About the Maine Council of Reflexologists
The Beginning and Founder
Janet Stetser D.Sc. NBCR who is now retired and lives in Arizona, is the founder of the MCR, starting it in 1991 with a small group of reflexologists, most of whom she taught in her reflexology school "Footloose Inc," in Alna, Maine. The organization continues to grow, now having over 65 members. We are very proud of "our" Janet, as she was always pushing for more education, a strong state organization, and coaxed us all to participate in creating the best reflexology state organization that we could.
